Function of the Single Shaft Slotting Unit

  • Knives do not need to be discharged when slotting larger size paperboard and skipped paper feeding board.
  • The slotting register and height of the carton box are controlled by PLC.
  • The slotting boss moves along linear guides driven by lead screws so movement becomes more flexible and precise.
  • The movement of the upper and lower boss are linked so the two knives stay aligned during movement,which helps to prolong their service life.
  • The calipers of the slotting bosses are controlled by PLC.
  • The structure of the tap knives can cut 3-layer or 5-layer paperboard without adjustment.
  • Hand hole-punching dies can also be used.
  • Paperboard is not broken easily after precreasing and creasing.
