Dong Fang APSTAR HS Auckland High Graphics Installation

It has been a busy start to the year for Orora Kiwi Packaging Auckland. The months of January and February saw the installation of a Dong Fang 7 Colour Rotary Die-Cutter with Prefeeder and Stacker from EDF. IR and UV Dryers Dryers from JB Machinery in addition to the KleenPlate system. The installation and training was overseen by Revolution Industrial and took place over a total of 6 weeks.

The machine represents a great opportunity for Orora Kiwi Packaging to branch out from their traditional brown box market to high graphics area. The 7 colour machine facilitates the production of an unlimited range of colours via CMYK process printing and the varnish unit enables a high gloss end product. With a growing push towards shelf-ready packaging Orora is well placed to capitalise on opportunities as they appear in the market place.

The installation went smoothly with great support from the sites’ engineering and operations teams, Revolution Industrial would like to extend their thanks to all involved.
